Scarlet beauty.
An Elf cup fungus,
Sarcoscypha coccinea

A beautiful fungus, found in damp forest, amid moss and peat. Growing on rotted logs of trees like Ash and in this case Sycamore. About 6 cm across. The early fruit are curled into a cup/bowl shape and would be easy for a Elf to drink from. :)
