R.I.P., our old Duck

So sorry for your loss, Diana. These are lovely portraits of your beautiful, funny and soulful friend. They leave us with a hole in our hearts when they go, but with a wealth of warm memories that, as the pain of loss slowly eases in time, continue to gladden our hearts for the rest of our lives. May Duck rest in the rainbow, dreaming of bones to gnaw on, balls to chase, sticks to carry and friends to frolic with.

Ohhhhh I am so sorry for your, Diane !!! Dogs are our best friends, but unfortunately their life is too short. My dog died in 1990 and I am still missing him, so I can understand what you are feeling.
Hope Duck is playing with my Gazou in the Dogs Paradise !!!

Oh yes, this is a sad story!
I remember myself. When I was about 18 years old and we had to put our old dog to sleep because he was so old and sick. She also was around 15 or 16 years old and I knew her for my whole life. That was a really bad thing!

Oh yes, your childhood dog is the most precious, I think! The one you never forget - although, when I think about it, you don't forget about any of them! It's harder to be philosophical about it at that age, though. It's all emotion. Thank you, poly.

I can remember Duck , his fellow dogs and Travis playing or relaxing happily in other photos of yours !!
I can understand deeply the sadness and the sense of loss of you all because I still miss , after so many years, Rififi, the dog of my childhood and adolescence !
