Ah yes, the break room! Employers here have to allow 15 minute breaks twice per 8-hour shift. But, in some jobs that is very difficult to do.

They seem to be from different 'branches' of the family .... those carts are expensive .. whenever I see one tossed over on the side of the road .. my brain goes Cha-Ching!

Some are from stores different from the one this spot is behind. The strays are placed here as in a bus station. The Cart Man comes periodically with his truck and takes them where they belong.

I think the same thing! I just did a search and see that they cost between $150 and $500 (gulp!). The best solution I read was the system that locks the wheels as soon as they get to the invisible fence (electronic) at the edge of the parking lot.
