A perfect spot to hang crows by the ears to dry them.

Funny! We hang our laundry outside in the summer too, but very few people do it these days. Hi Diane so nice to hear from you!

It seems most of the world does, but few N. Americans. We are spoiled by the dryer. Actually, I hang mine most of the time, I hate paying the power bill. Nice to see you, too!

Oh yeah we are the same. Why waste money on the power when nature does a better job? The money saved can go to my retirement/ restaurant/ entertainment fund :D

For Americans, the extra money goes into our medication co-payment funds. Lol! (I'm not exaggerating too much, really.)

How bizarre! Not the scarecrow as such (although that is certainly odd enough) but the fact that North Americans don't often hang their washing out! In the UK it rains a lot but we still have the habit of hanging the washing outside whenever we get the chance (and frequently rushing outside to get it all back inside again as soon as it rains; we are experts at that particular skill and would be serial gold medal winners if it were ever to be an Olympic sport!)

Rural people hang their clothes outside, here, but very few suburban or city people do. I did for a few years before I bought a dryer and also hung them all over my apartment in bad weather. I am in awe of your laundry-rain-rush skills, Andy!
