The old mill

The old mill
Being demolished over a two year period, photo from 2012. Care was taken to dismantle it in a careful way rather than with dozers and wrecking balls. The original buildings took up about six acres of land.

Gabriella Siglinde, Luc Reiniche, jd weiss, Rosalyn Hilborne and 3 other people have particularly liked this photo

Haha - true. No toilet, either. Well, I guess that doesn't matter in a place like this!

It was great, I enjoyed checking on it a few times to see the demolition progress. Kind of sad when it was finally gone!

It was, yes. The company even had its own rail spur for loading lumber. All of the mills had them, so there are many abandoned rails around, and vacant spaces where mills used to be. Thank you, Rosa.
