Ghost I

Ghost I
I used to work in this office. It's a very solid county building, abandoned again, and too bad it can't be used for something. It was first the county home for developmentally disabled adults. After a long vacancy, my branch of county mental health moved into it because a client burned down our building when he got out of jail. True story.

It was my turn for crisis assessment the next day, so I had to go see him in jail. That was one entertaining visit. The sheriff didn't let him out that time. ;-b

Two "shadow selfies" and two interesting shots with a sad (but sort of funny) back-story.

Oh, it was very funny! There was more. I found him cheerful in his cell. When he saw me he said, "Diane! What are you doing here, are you on the wrong side of the law again?"
"No, You are! You burned down our building, remember?"
"Oh yeah, that's right!" he said.

I always had a soft spot for schizophrenics and he had a great sense of humor, even after his catastrophic crime.

It shows how educated you are, Andy! You squeeze a lot of possibilities into a small space. Something like that.
