For the demolished mural (this isn't it), see PiPs HERE: www.ipernity.com/doc/1227338/45913576

The way that cougar is painted has always bugged me!

Au Cœur... diagonalhorizon, Ronald Losure, , Marko Novosel and 3 other people have particularly liked this photo

Is this animal a cougar ?

Yes, also known as a mountain lion, a puma and a catamount. What you call it depends on where you live, but it's the same animal.

I usually call it a "cougar" because my wife & sister went to Washington State University! (The team is the "Cougars.") The Cougars vs. the Huskies (at the University of Washington) is the big cross-state rivalry.

Everyone in Oregon, at least S. Oregon, calls it a cougar. Californians call it a mountain lion. I still call it that.

This one is on a different building. I've added a PiP on the first photo to show the one that was destroyed. I like that one way better than this one!

See the first demolition photo to see a PiP of the destroyed one. This one has not been destroyed. ;-)

Thank you, Aschi!

Smashing bit of street art Diane.............and nicely taken. I hope this is not one of the buildings being demolished!

No, this building, an old hotel, has been maintained over the years and is now used for long-term residency. Some other brick buildings on Main St. have been allowed to crumble beyond repair since the economic downturn, which started in the '90s for Klamath Falls.
