It looks to me like an industrial version of the Art Deco - Moderne combination. The zig-zag detail is something I've seen around, but don't know that is has a name of its own: il9.picdn.net/shutterstock/videos/18858536/thumb/1.jpg

Art Deco here is, I think, the same as yours, but the true, gorgeous form is found in big cities like Chicago. Elsewhere, it is usually simplified or combines with other styles. As I sit here looking at 40s & 50s architecture on Google Image, the above building reminds me of small town Soviet buildings and monuments. What that derives from, I'm not sure, but it's cheap materials and mix-and-match design like the above. Maybe Brutalist influence...

That's what I think, too. I'll bet it was very avant garde for this little logging town. Next, I have to find out what it was used for. I suspect a wholesale food warehouse, as there are loading doors all the way down the side.
