Yes, quite a lot more snow than usual (at least, "usual" for our new climate)! Thank you.

Have pals in OR saying the same !

We only had a little

Last night it went down to -8.5F. I have never seen it that low in 10 years here .... and Jay said he has only seen it lower once in 60 years.

Wow, that is very cold for Okla! This is why there are climate change deniers. They don't get the concept that global warming brings extreme, deadly weather, not just "warmer everywhere, so what's the big deal?"

They also forget that just TWO degrees.. will take out millions of people with sea level rise.

Yes, and we're almost there. And, they don't understand that the word extinction also refers to human extinction.

Oh jeez, I can't stand that phrase. I know that's why you used it, Steve, to torment me! However, your Star is a single win!

I see your fingers were too cold to add Happy and Friday to Fence for your title, Diane!!!! Or perhaps it was because it was a day early??

Oh. I don't ever think of it. I'm on the margins of the HFF community because I'm not in the Official HFF group. If someone says "HFF" to me, though, I say thank you!

i really like this photo - the color of the weathered wood against the snow, the composition, the middle plant standing up to the snow. maybe it's the color tone that appeals the most. anyway, i keep going back and looking at it again.

we have about a foot of snow here in Portland today. i think we will be stuck for a number of days. it's amazingly quite here. love how the snow absorbs sounds, but also NO ONE is going anywhere!

thanks for adding to my group 'naturey crap - crappy nature'.

Thank you so much! A foot is a lot for Portland. No one goes anywhere down here unless they have too - so glad I'm retired. However, I need to get groceries. I'm down to a few cans and a jar of dill pickles.
