King Tut (the Lab) and Happy

King Tut (the Lab) and Happy
The dogs that used to be at my mother's assisted living home every day. Tut was definitely the boss. The director, who owned them, left and so did the dogs. Mom still misses them, especially the enormous Tut. I've never seen a Lab as big as he was, about the size of a St. Bernard.

Lovely doggies.... but he is actually seriously overweight... and that is the fate of many "big Labs".

That said.... sad that they left

Both were overweight and their master was always reminding the old folks not to feed them. I'll bet they lost weight after they left! The Lab had a lot of very loose skin and almost looked like a gigantic blood hound without the ears. I've seen a lot of Labs, but none quite like this one. He was a reject from a breeder, who was going to put him down as a pup because he wasn't perfect like his littermates. GRRrrrrr - those horrible people!!!
