Soller, Mallorca

Mallorca

Folder: Europe
The largest of the Islas Balearicas in the Mediterranean Sea. It is part of Spain and a very popular tourist destination. It is however an excellent place for wildlife and has superb mountains, cliffs and beaches with walks where you meet no-one all day! It is probably the best place in Europe to see Black Vultures and one of the best to see Eleanora's Falcons

Town square in the middle of Soller. You can catch trams from the coast up to here and from here board a narrow-gauge train to Palma. There are some very pleasant restaurants and bars here.
