L'ambiance était extraordinaire. Nous ne sommes restés sur cette foire hors des circuits touristiques que 2 petites heures mais nous aurions pu y rester la journée, il y avait de quoi "griller" plusieurs pellicules (mais il fallait en garder pour la suite du voyage) !

So you were in the little village of Maras. I was there in 2006 and it still wasn´t a tourist place. Did you get to the salt mines too?

If I remember correctly, it was a circuit from Chinchero: Urubamba and Tiobamba only. We didn't go to Maras.

Pity you didn´t go to the salt mines of Maras at that time. Today you can't go close to them... there were too many tourists ... too much work to clean after them, imagine!
