Memories

As nature takes over the seat here in Barbon, Cumbria perhaps we see things as they should be. After all it’s not in nature’s interest to place benches all over the place. However, a once cooling place of rest and meditation for someone special, it’s now a pity to see it like this. Perhaps it looks quite different in winter?

Hello Herb certainly an interesting shot to see the bench in this condition the view behind certainly looks worth sitting and looking at awhile so we can only imagine what is in front .... no one seems to have sat here for awhile to find out ..

It needs a little tlc and it is sad that it is in this state but it does make a good photo Herb. TThe views are beautiful and I love the dry stone wall. The weathered look of the bench blends perfectly with the natural surroundings
