Lest we forget.......
Taken at The Church of Saint Anne, Lydgate, on our morning isolation walk today. This was after yesterdays very quite remembrance day celebrations. All the poppies here were hand made, mostly knitted and made from wool, no doubt by their own parishioners.

I watched the scaled down Whitehall service on TV on Sunday which also seemed slowed down and much more moving than the normal mass attended event.

It's good to see you had some sunshine this morning too. Enjoy the rest of our day :-)

A very nice picture, which conveys the sentiments of the day.
I like the idea of re-usable poppies. Many people round our way have managed to find plenty of other re-usable items too.
Despite the lockdown, there was no shortage of wreaths on the war memorial..
Best Wishes, and stay safe!!
Peter
