Life on the edge
As I come to the end of this days marvellous walk around Loweswater I get a glimpse of what some other people see permanently. To live and work from these traditional farm buildings and cottages with such a view it would seem to us people from the towns almost like being in heaven. Alas, life in the countryside has always been hard and sometimes a great view hardly compensates for those hardships. Anyway, lets share a bit of their life with this vista which I am sure changes by the hour.

I love the soft light. Have a good and sunny Tuesday...Rosa.
Erich
The landscape for a cityman looks immutable
The peasant has a wisdom of many years and detects changes in weather and landscape, easily
Here, we realize the difference in the construction of buildings and through a gap the modern cars
These tones and soft light dazzle me
Fabulous composition, Herb
A lovely photo, Herb.
