Our first full chance to relax before seeing our accommodation. Here we are at our local beach of Cecina with a sight that we would never ever see back home in Britain. Matched sun-umbrellas and chairs all lined up in an orderly fashion. Of course, demonstrating that certain Italian flair of matching harmony with nature.

I like the composition, the graduated blue tones in the sky and the colour of the sea. The regimented line of deck-chairs and sun-umbrellas really works well with the pano format!

Good to have you here with me Keith. A great beach and quite different from our British beaches. I am not really a beach person and so these umbrellas and deck-chairs were lost on me, except for their colours etc in a photo like this.

Snap George, although, it maybe is replicated here somewhere for we do normally have deck-chairs at least (In normal times that is.)

Very well matched! I always thought there was a charge to enter a beach in Italy...or is that just some beaches? With the weather as it is now, I can't wait to get to the Dorset coast :-))

Hi Rosa. We did get some funny looks from the attendants here as we walked a good stretch of the beach, mostly by the water itself. The main area, where we started from, was certainly free but as you say, this little bit may have been different. Glad you liked it. Today, as temps rise above the 30C mark, any beach would be packed especially after yesterdays C19 easing announcements. For us, and you I think, we are still taking care and hesitating to venture to such places, preferring today to laze around on our garden loungers in the shade of our trees listening to the birds.
