Ingleton waterfalls trail: Hollybush Spout

Ingleton waterfalls trail: Hollybush Spout
The second waterfall that one encounters on this walk.

Hollybush Spout is a waterfall on the River Twiss and is situated between Pecca Falls and Thornton Force on the Ingleton Waterfall Walk. The waterfall is well named with the surrounding rock squeezing the river above a steep drop to create the water spout. The yellow tint in this water is caused by peat picked up whilst flowing down from the higher hills.

The second of these falls on here Toz. As you can see -a lot of water on this day. Next stop Thornton. Ideally I would have taken my tripod but I only had my big one with me and lumping that for 5? miles was a test too much on there dodgy wet paths. I had left my travel tripod at home for some silly reason thinking that the big one would cover all usage -mistake!

Two fantastic shots of this lovely waterfall Herb. I really like them both but this is my preferred shot - it's a slightly wider view and I like the water movement and colour, especially in the pool underneath.

Two for the price of one Kieth. I have realised that you like frozen drops water rather than the silk effect but that's OK, I like them both sometimes preferring one over the other. More of these falls to come yet :)

Take care. Herb
