A great fence Friday subject with the town providing a wonderful background HFF and a nice weekend Herb, I have added a colour version of the footbridge, I'm not a big B&W fan but sometimes try one

A wonderful picture, and technically perfect as ever!
Great contrast between the quiet peace of the boardwalk, and the cut & thrust of the visitors in the town.
As for best picture from the boardwalk, the mind boggles!!

Nice to see you again Peter. This is, as I am sure you realised, a hdr rendition of this scene (very delicate though) in order to bring out the wood grain etc as the scene was very contrasty. There were not many people on this bit of the walk and even the town looked quite. There were samples of the previous competitions on placards around and I must admit that many of the scenes were to me outstanding, especially in the golden hours and snowy Winter.

Hi Percy, I was pleasantly surprised at the sheer beauty of these places with the feel of very old historic buildings and streets. Amazingly good considering the damage done during WWII.
