Your carriage awaits you Madam

Seen in Krakow main square. These wonderful horse-drawn carriages are nearly all operated by young ladies dressed in a particular style of that wonderful era of long ago. The many horses are just as beautiful with their coloured plumes and livery. The building in the background is the old 'Cloth House', now a fashionable market bedecked by cafe's and restaurants.

It was a great place Daniela. Active from 06.30 to well past midnight. During the day there were many concerts and activities. Always a lot of tourist about but..... I think the coach trips were very expensive indeed.

Good that you enjoy this too John. Yes a suitable camera, lens and sturdy travel tripod are minimum requirements for such a piece. Not counting the props of course!

Gudrun, always nice to see you and your comments here. There were a lot of these carriages about and the best picture was of a full line of then with the magnificent St. Mary's Church behind but I was happy with this one. All the other venues were full of tourist :)
