The Langdale Pikes from Tarn Hows

The Langdale Pikes from Tarn Hows
A grand long distance view from this small lake (Tarn Hows) where I am standing in our English Lake District. The highest peak here is called 'Pike of Stickle'. Enjoy
ps best enjoyed large.

Doug Shepherd, Ste, Nick Weall and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

I think I know the Langdale Pikes and that area better than anywhere else in the Lakes and yet I haven't been back since 1986!
A fine shot once more, Herb.
Best wishes,
Andy,

Thanks Andy. These are relatively new to me, although I have seen them and indeed travelled through them on a few occasions but I have only recently got to know what they were called. I had some more of the Langdale Pikes a on Panoramio.

Hi again Steve. Great that you enjoy this long view towards the Pikes. I have just returned from your cousins gallery and the recommended album. Looks like you have done some great hikes and climbs around the North. Liked his gallery so much that I have added hit the follow button too.
Cheers, Herb
