Sauerkraut is an excellent source of vitamins C and K, potassium and calcium. Many before the scientists discovered vitamin C, the sailors had barrels of sauerkraut to prevent the scurvy.
Sauerkraut is called broom for stomach and bowel , and also strengthens the nerves and stimulates the formation of blood cells. Lactic acid bacteria from sauerkraut maintain the health of the intestinal flora and hence the immunity of the whole body.
For the purpose of preserving nutrients and probiotics and easier digestion, it is recommended to eat sauerkraut without cooking.
In therapy for detoxification of the organism, you can drink sauerkraut juice between the meals.
As a medicinal and delicious combination, it is recommended to have a sauerkraut salad with olive oil and garlic.
