I hope I have learn't some thing and done my mentors image proud.

Lagoon Nebula-- Carlos Taylor-- MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT THIS LARGE.

It finally came my turn as the Milky way moved this into view I was going to do a two shot panorama but went against it as no more clear night nothing but rain for two weeks. things did not completely work out tree go in the way and shooting stopped at 4:30 am and lost 90 min shot time.

Lagoon Nebula & Trifid Nebula- Do look large

my first real attempt at this group.

86 shot 5 min each in as much clear night as I could get.

This is almost as far south as I can get, no chance to do it with the telescope. Great shot again

This is rising over head at the moment hence I was able to get the shot but sadly its two weeks of rains and clouds. Huge amount of nebulocity in this area.

I'm full of admiration Steve at the way you have developed in this area of photography and the results are spectacular and make us a very small planet in the scheme of things.

Nick to think this has been here for so long, have they change do they change this is just one night. to have the chance to see this in a time frame of eons of years there may just be changes we cant see from here as single night.

the shots of space really do make you think we are just a speck in total comparison. Its been a very long haul in part covid times but I am now getting the results I was after when I started. I am paying the time forward as well so it also helps some one else.

Hi again Steve. Another fine series of deep sky shots from you here and an admirable discourse of making it come about. Scenes and images that I could only dream about. You make deep space look very attractive indeed. Your technical prowess with all this just goes better by the month. Well done -again!

Keep safe. Herb

Many thanks Herb what you are looking at is how I wanted my deep space shots to look like, I know its been a long haul to get here but the net result worth it. I have been lucky to have Carlos in the wings pushing as well.

I know that you can do this in the UK as I know of a few already biggest killer would be clouds much like this winter. it all should improve with new mount as well hope is really is just a plug and play most of the time its never worked out quite so. I know the focuser has helped as well refocusing every 3c change in temperature small things but add up to a big change in result.
