The OM2 was our favorite camera. We have a little collection, all the past cameras from our family

I use to help my father in the dark room and watch with great interest the white paper turn into a photo. I have two cameras in my old bag but my fav is the OM-2 great camera taught me such a lot. Nice to see the older gear looked after Can pick out the OM-2 in the lot.

... pure nostalgia ... I have a couple of shoeboxes for of the little cylinders that 35mm film used to come in, maybe even some cans made out of aluminum with screw-off lids ... also, I remember agonizing over how to "spend" the 24 or 36 exposures on those rolls ...

That was always the problem did I use the exposures correctly to get my moneys worth not like taking 20 shots on digital to get "the one". I still have some rolls left but cant see the use of using the but far better to keep them for what they are these days, souvenirs. still a camera that taught me so much.

Film is making a comeback, that is a sort after camera, get a lens adaptor and try the lens on your digital camera, I have just bought a Zuiko 28mm f2.8 to use on my Olympus micro 4/3 camera although it will effectively double the focal length ( I haven't used it waiting for the adaptor ) the images may not be as 'perfect' as a modern computer designed lens but they have character you don't get from a modern lens, using an adapter or course avoids the cost of film. If you are interested in old cameras and lenses look on YouTube for Zenography
