Miles From anywhere

Miles From anywhere
A trip to Carnarvon via Denham
At the Very Edge of Town : Do look on black
Perth Denham 822km
Denham Carnarvon 324km
total 1146 km and we hardly scratched Australia.

A few view out side the window of the Bus at 103km/H

The first fence follows the road(Both side all the way) to keep animal off the road but what happens when they get on the wrong side of the fence not much space. We saw Goats, Cows, and Emus in the day, night is another world entirely.

Welcome to the Mid West Of australia. PIPS views along the way barren nothing

Special K, Peter Castell, Annemarie, Ulrich John and 13 other people have particularly liked this photo

In the middle of nowhere Steve, and even here you have not got the freedom to walk without fences hindering the way. Great bow, of course!

HFF, have a great weekend. Herb

The fences are a good idea but not when animals get on the wrong side of the fence. Denham was a real highlight. HFF

A great sandy series, Steve. Yes, I'd think it would be a worrying drive at night with the wildlife. HFF and have a great weekend.

Just so vast this land of ours , not a drive I would like to even contemplate at night but the sides of the road was littered with years of mishaps rotting away. great to be home. HFF from the west.

Compared to the UK or NZ the distances mind blowing and out of this world. more will come to show the vastness of the landscape. hFF
