Sunset Sugar Loaf Rock (Best enjoyed Large)

Sunset Sugar Loaf Rock (Best enjoyed Large)
A forgotten panorama from 2016. Fighting fading light and a shrinking Sun bow at Sunset. Enjoy Life on the Rocks down South The Pink Granite under sunset colours. made up of 8 shots vertical orientation 14mm lens. Find the camera bags...... Lights out below from same spot.

Rocky Path Sugar Loaf Rock over view of the area.

We had the place to our selves so the bags stayed there all night. you can see the added shot I took once the sun went down( slightly wider to get more in) why we went there 3H drive one way but just what a place. one of my fav spots in WA. next light South Africa.

Two wonderful captures Steve. The MW bow is great but I do love the sunset lighting and rock details of the day shot too. Well done. ~ Herb

A pure Golden hour shot shows a great contrast to the night shot of the milky way. the Pink granite soaks the golden hour lighting up very well which is why the shot was taken. AS you can see was not at all an easy place to get the tripod level or to walk about after dark. this is why the levelling head is of huge advantage these days. makes for a full screen as a background on the computer.

Some of the best lighting at the golden hour time and the rocks just topped it off. glad you like it as well.

It is one of the places I will go back to but may be not as a 3 h drive down and 3h drive back same night like we did . make a over night stay out of it so it is not so taxiing.

Hi Steve

I really like these night shots.

Great composition, and I am always impressed when you get the bow of the Milky Way. Something I've never seen in real life..

Best Wishes, and a good weekend

Peter there is nothing like nailing these shots at the moment I also am helping Herb do just the same as best he can in the UK . the results he has got are outstanding if he was in a black site like me he would have just the very same as me. it not hard to see the milky way you just need a site that is as free of city light solution or have a red filter to cut the light pollution down.
I do hope you get the chance to see the sky as black as I do then you will not miss the bow at all.

All the best for your weekend.

Two great shots Steve. The light is almost eerie in the first and quite beautiful. I love that night sky in the second shot.
