Thank you Peter one of my all time fav shots and I went out just to capture the sun rise and mist.I certainly caught more but it does pay to have a vivid imagination and be quick off the mark.

It is hard to believe, that you caught that picture only by walking around and waiting for the right moment. I just imagine, how you was working on setting up these trunks, branches and twigs days ago, just to have them as they are. Not to mention the fog machine, you borrowed from the theatre nearby ... ;-)
What a great picture!

I know what you mean but its was just how you see it I saw the witch only first up the rest when I had a closer look on the back of the camera. this is matching another I have of a fairy not yet posted which I will next week. all this area is now lost under houses and families.many thanks for your kind words.

thanks Rodger I believe that photo shop has killed photos these day we can make the into any thing we like. Having come from film what you see is what was taken. if you cant edit a photo in 30 sec you did not take it right to start with.

I would not say 'just'! A great stump, though I'm still trying to find all 5. I never was very good at shapes in clouds, and apparently I'm not any better at this.

Great composition. quite beautiful photo. And I'd be thrilled if you would consider putting this photo in my group 'naturey crap - crappy nature' (name explained on group page) - if you want.
