4WD came around the corner off the beach and ruined the shot for the bow but made a great fence shot. Preston beach.

Gudrun, Annemarie, Thérèse, Berny and 16 other people have particularly liked this photo

it was a shot that I thought was ruined , then I spotted the fence on the camera so I kept it as a worth addition to HFF from the west.

Indeed... I would have cropped a little below the fence... and nobody would have noticed the 4WD lights!

You could crop but that would only make a sky show and have no ground or reality to the shot, if you look all my shots have some thing we know the ground. It make a worthy addition to HFF

Of course, it would be only a little of land left. It is only the little too much enlightened spot behind the stick that distracts from main, that could be softened by cloning too, well I do not pretend to know what is better, it was a mere humble suggestion (I appreciate being done so too)!

I think its great that we all do our photos the way we like as its almost a personal stamp. nothing right nothing wrong just individual. my own photos are as taken, no photoshop manipulation other than

www.ipernity.com/doc/1073393/46203910//in/album/1190370

pure photoshop. I think it comes from film day "get it right you got one shot only".

Shame about the bow'.. but it can still be seen here... and the vehicle makes a fine job of illuminating the foreground... yeah.. nowt' wrong with that Steve....

I redid the bow by doing the shot once the 4WD went past but not worth posting, the 4 WD did a great job of something I could not do. HFF and have a great weekend.

Hi Steve

Always a pleasure to see your astronomy pics. In this case you have a different twist, which has worked really well by luck rather than judgement. I like it very much!!

Best Wishes, HFF, and a Good Weekend

Another of your unique fence captures Steve, as surely only you can take. Just goes to prove that a chance light experience can pay off. Well done.

HFF, have a great weekend, Herb

this would have to have been the most unique capture of all totally out of my control, other than take the photo. It is certainly one that show you should always be prepared for every thing. I think if the 4WD had not come into the shot in the last few seconds it would have been a very big difference over 25 seconds.

HFF to you and hope you weekend is a good one.
