Very late at night we see the western bow. where to go to look west away from the city with some interest. Preston beach in the sand dunes @ 6c after nigninght. there are 4 planets Jupiter Saturn , Pluto and mars.

City light pollution is all named, Man it was black.

Ruebenkraut, Marco F. Delminho, David G Johnson, Sami Serola (inactive) and 21 other people have particularly liked this photo

the one thing we are blessed with is dark skies and places to find them, not seen so many planets together at same time. many thanks

We may not have beautiful scenery but how we make up for it.when we got here Jupiter was higher and shinning on the water I was waiting for the bow to come down as it was very high only to get Jupiter dimmed as it got closer to the horizon and in the atmosphere.

Another wonderful and technically perfect night Milky Way bow Steve. Nice to see the planets on full screen too. I have to hand it to you -you got this spot on to a fine art. Well done again. ☼

not a cloud in sight and still as and so late it sure was cold but well dressed it was ok. I think the western bow is better looking than the eastern bow far more colour and interest. great background on my computer. Many thanks.

It always best to shoot the bow in the cold clear air than in the summer with all the dust. many thanks from down under.

the key is right method and settings its easy. I guess its the caring to get the photo in the first place. I still wonder if i should add these shots as most dont get them or the effort involved. I thank you for your compliment I add for the one or two who enjoy them as much as me. makes a stunning back ground on my computer screen.
