Andy we will try and keep her in character. i had just learn the skill of tooling leather so i wanted to take it to the max the bag is 100% leather inside and out made and processed by myself. i also put my leather finishing skills to the test( i went on to be a leather technician from beginning to end of the process) as well the result pass way beyond my wildest dreams. would i do it again the time you put into this is far beyond any money that any body would pay for the bag i did it for myself and yes it went to a female. i can attest to the fact it was some thing i was so proud to give away ... if you can its well worth the skills you learn. it would have been easy to give up on the second panel let alone the back an flap or the strap. it was a real test in stick ability and your own standards. this bag set me up to a high standard that i have tried to match in every thing i have done since. i also made one for my mum while i was still home even though she did no know it was for her...
