Lake Clifton And Bow

Lake Clifton And Bow
at the end of the jetty looks south to north. It sure was crowded but enjoyed the night. If you follow the line of the front railing you can see the burn off fire glowing in the sky. Contrast the Lay of the Emu in the milky way to the Eastern orientation in the PIP.

Marie-claire Gallet, Old Owl, Ulrich John, Percy Schramm and 7 other people have particularly liked this photo

Great Steve, I like the PIP more than the main picture.

it does show you the value of going out into the real "black" away from the coastal city lights that show in this shot. Kondinin was a 3 hour drive due east. did you see the difference in the two bows.

Crikey. I've never been there at night, Steve. Having seen your magnificent picture I think I'll make the effort soon. Thanks, mate, for this.

For a start PIP is 3 hour drive due east into the black no real light pollution out there. this is less the 40min from home but light pollution from freeway and coastal cities. Glad you like them.
