Tim not the ideal time to try a Milky way Bow as it sits over the cities but came out quite well 14 shots 40 min stitching. not a bad result first time.

Amazing! I imagine with stitching a starry sky you have to be even more careful than usually or the stargazers will find you out;-)

Gudrun you will note this is a better program for stitching HUGIN

my first go at captureing the whole milky way still more to learn its better to wait till winter when is away from the city lights. thanks Steve

Yes I imagine an "easy" stitching software like MS ICE might not be the best option here;-)

Gudrun you note the joins thats why Hugin is better the joins dont show , have just joined photoshopCC works quite well but still not as good as Hugin (free program as long as you use Jpeg not raw). very much worth looking into.
