Peter we lack the stunning trees the scenery of Europe but we do make up for it with black skies that is for sure. this is one of the reasons i have turned to astro photography. even in my front yard i can take photos of the stars but not see them all or the milky way but they a very clear.

Dam i knew i was slow , i nearly fell of my chair when i read the comment the perfect comment to the title. it was a wounder full night there is one more fence to come from the night. W small one horse town out in country WA. HFF and keep your feet on the ground and your broom in the closet.......... {;o)
