World of Light
An Accidental photo

this shot is all about time, light and just what happens. i started the shot while Steve was setting up the tripod from the left then he moved behind to take the shot. D800E and photographer as one the red monster is his hands and the D800E ( enlarge the shot to check). it was a shot that nearly did not happen as he moved came close to stopping , Glad i did not.

Erika+Manfred, AD AD, , Marie-claire Gallet and 21 other people have particularly liked this photo

Lutz steve was setting up when i opened the shutter to the left side why you can see the D800E fully then about half way he walked around the back so you see both camera and Steve. i thought it was going to be a dud but came out so well. if you open out big you see the light from his head lamp to the right of the rock.. thanks for the like . Hi Steve, I'm as confused as before and your explanation leaves me totally bewildered. What is this little red moster on your back? ;-)

Anyway, wonderful photo.

Lutz there are two Steve's here one taking and one in the photo. the shot started with Steve at the side (left hence light is way to the right) setting up the the D800E 14-24 once happy moved to the back of the camera to take the photo. at this point i told him to stand still which he sort of did. the red monster on Steve's back is his hand and the D800E so you see camera and photographer as one the true magic of light and long exposure.
