Château Garden
The original garden - full of fruit, vegetables and flowers - supplied the château in the 15th century. After the Thirty Years' War, it was rebuilt into a garden in the Baroque style, which created an entrance to the Bishop's residence. Gradually, the garden was transformed into a landscape park with an area of 64 hectares. Ponds, water streams, Romantic buildings, a lot of examples of precious trees from all over the world as well as a wild life corner, which had been systematically developed until the end of the 19th century, serve today the residents and visitors, especially on hot summer days. Walks in the park may also reveal new views of the town; flowers and trees create the comfort so needed these days.
