Are you living in a plain? Here we are about 250 mt, but all around there are mountain. Not bad, but do you know how sun is lasting in Winter? Not more than 5 hours a day. I don't like it. Today with the change of the hour at 5 it's almost dark.

I agree, mountains are best visited once in a while for a holiday rather than be lived amongst.I have made many trips to the Alps and Pyrenees. and find them dramatic.

I once lived on the north side of a hill and forest and it used to really really depress me to see sunshine lying on the fields opposite me whilst our house and garden were in shade. (I soon moved)

At last someone that understand.Thanks.Nick. When I was a child and a girl I did not have problems. But then I lived 36 years in Milan, in a plain and it's very different, even with the high buildings that can hide the sun. But only hide, he is there anyway, for many hours more than here. I came back here 5 years ago because of my father, that is dead 6 months ago.But I cannot go back to Milan.
