Hi, Melinda; we have lots of those around this area, (old bridges and cloudy skies) some are beautiful, some are not.

Next to York, this is my favourite place to visit; being nearer, it gets more of them.

Your "yellow star" is a nice surprise. - Cheerful cheers, ~ D. :o)

Hi David! Working abroad is almost taking all my time, time i need to respond and upload...., besides, a malfunction in internet (more a lack of...) is also responsable! Back in civilisation now and a little more time......
A clear day you said? Are you sure you made this picture this year? :)
I think this bridge is a lot older than the surrounding houses. Its seen horses, carriages, T-fords and nowadays traffic passing to the other side. And still alive.......

"Back in civilisation", where have you been to, Ed, Timbuktu? :o))
The pic. was taken a year gone March, we had the occasional fine day that year; as I type today we're also having splendid weather too.

Someone once said (a foreign king I think) that an English summer consists of two hot days and a thunderstorm; ......those are forecast for us later in the week I believe.

Yes, a grand old bridge it is, probably not only seen T-Fords, but a T-Rex or two! :^)

........oh, I'm pleased you noticed the date, .... that would make everything clear and less 'cloudy' for you! :O)

Always a pleasure to hear from you over there in the Netherlands, best regards, ~ D.
