Das Schloss der Grafen von Ursel befindet sich in Durbuy in der belgischen Provinz Luxemburg. Es steht am Eingang der Stadt, entlang der Ourthe.
Die erste Burg wurde um 889 erbaut und ein Jahrhundert später zerstört. Im 11. Jahrhundert ließ Heinrich I. von Namur, Graf von Durbuy, die Festung wiederaufbauen.
Im Jahr 1726 übernahm die Familie d'Ursel das Engagement und wurde ab 1756 Eigentümerin des Schlosses.
The castle of the Counts of Ursel is located in Durbuy in the Belgian province of Luxembourg. It stands at the entrance to the town, along the Ourthe.
The first castle was built around 889 and destroyed a century later. In the 11th century, Henry I of Namur, Count of Durbuy, had the fortress rebuilt.
In 1726, the d'Ursel family took over the commitment and became owners of the castle from 1756.

Der Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba) ist eine in China heimische, heute weltweit angepflanzte Baumart. Er ist der einzige lebende Vertreter der Ginkgoales, einer ansonsten ausgestorbenen Gruppe von Samenpflanzen.
In Ostasien wird der Baum wegen seiner essbaren Samen oder als Tempelbaum kultiviert. Er wurde von niederländischen Seefahrern aus Japan nach Europa gebracht und wird hier seit etwa 1730 als Zierbaum gepflanzt.
Zum Jahrtausendwechsel erklärte das deutsche „Kuratorium Baum des Jahres“ Ginkgo biloba zum Mahnmal für Umweltschutz und Frieden und zum Baum des Jahrtausends. Der Ginkgo ist ein „lebendes Fossil“.The ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba) is a tree species native to China that is now planted worldwide. It is the only living representative of the Ginkgoales, an otherwise extinct group of seed plants.
In East Asia, the tree is cultivated for its edible seeds or as a temple tree. It was brought to Europe from Japan by Dutch sailors and has been planted here as an ornamental tree since about 1730.
At the turn of the millennium, the German "Curatorship Tree of the Year" declared Ginkgo biloba to be a memorial for environmental protection and peace and the Tree of the Millennium. The ginkgo is a "living fossil".
