I love the way the light comes straight to the viewer while the canal banks spread out sideways. (We are barred from our local canal as the towpath is not regarded as wide enough for proper social distancing and there are people living in boats moored at the side. Sad but sensible.)

We are very lucky, there are very few houseboats on this canal, John, but a couple of weeks ago we did see a canoeist, and even on the tow path there is room to get off to the right. You might see a white 'dot' in the distance. That is one of the two dog walkers we saw here.

I love how you composed this image, Amelia. The perspective leads the eye all the way to the end, and I like how the trees create an "Implied triangle". Well done!

Lovely! Not much movement on the canal at the moment. We should have been going this weekend for two weeks but alas that plan has not worked.
