Happy floating fence Friday
The small River Tern in Attingham Patk had burst its banks and flooded much of the surrounding farmland. We have had it easy in Shropshire, as far as flooding is concerned, compared with other parts of the country.

Two super images Amelia. The first one shows the "floating" effect beautifully and the second one is a really lovely landscape image with nice natural framing and lovely reflections.

We've been pretty lucky down in the South so far............I really feel sorry for all those who have been affected by these floods :-(

I remember the river looking like this when we visited Attingham Park a few years ago Amelia! So much flooding recently along the River Severn. How has it been in Shrewsbury?

We've been in town today, Rosa, and all the riverside paths are open for a change. The flood barriers are down, and things seem to be getting back to normal. The Severn at Atcham had burst its banks last Monday too, and the fields on either side of the Atcham bridge were under water. We just need a few days when it doesn't rain on the hills where the Severn rises, and we'll be complaining about drought conditions. ;-)
