I had just lined this shot up nicely, no traffic and no people, when suddenly this road worker stepped right in front of me. Well - I couldn't wait all day.

Love Song, Joe, Son of the Rock, Gudrun, John FitzGerald and 25 other people have particularly liked this photo

I think he could be a Tic-Tac man just about to indicate the odds of 9/4 – both hands touching the top of the head. ;-)

Standing there scratching his head. It makes a good image. Life is full of these little things sent to try us.

Is this was Henri Cartier-Bresson meant by the "Decisive Moment"?

Your subject doesn't seem to be the slightest bit decisive..............but you certainly were when you hit that shutter button! A cracking candid shot Amelia :-)

The fact he seems puzzled does add to the image, the inpainting brush tool on Affinity Photo is very good for removing people and objects, I don't do much editing but I do remove unwanted things

De todas formas la casa se ve bien y el obrero parece que no tenía prisa.

Hi Amelia

Typical council worker... Doing nothing, scratching head pondering what to do next to try and look busy!

Best Wishes, and a good weekend

His yellow high vis vest makes for a good splash of colour! Haha, I had similar experiences in the Alps, only it wasn't a street worker but usually Chinese or Indian tourists;-)

Looks like me, Amelia, wondering where I have left my reading glasses. That's where I usually find them... on top of my head. LOL. Cheers, Joe
