Hello Amelia a lovely shot here from the canal .. looks like Spring is just around the corner too with the picture notes .. you always know when winter is over when Clio panels start springing up :))

I've been waiting for Clio panels to appear for weeks, Steve, and at last they're here. I have a spring in my step, ;-)

Many thanks, George. It was so nice to see snowdrops here. We have now walked from Queens Head to just south of Maesbury on this part of the canal.

Spring is indeed coming, Dany. There is a distinct lengthening pf the days, but it's still cold in Shropshire and we have frost and fog most mornings.

Lovely shot, Amelia. The colors of the water and of the rushes. We are buried in snow here. Haven't been out since last Friday.

Many thanks, Ron. The only drops of snow we have seen are the snowdrops. A maritime climate can be a bit boring in the winter!

The colour of the reeds against the blue sky and water is really beautiful. The notes are interesting, only the third doesn't display- probably another one of the glitches today...I like the catkins as long they are just on a photo, in reality I hate them and my itchy eyes and the sneezing;-)

I rarely get hay fever, Gudrun - thank goodness - I do a lot of gardening! The winter light and lack of growth on the tow path made all this possible, and I loved finding the many clumps of snowdrops along the way.

I only learned how to to the insets a couple of months ago, Nick. They can be useful in that some photos don't stand out for themselves alone, but can contribute to the general scene. ;-)
