picnik is a flash driven photo editor running in your web browser
Integration of picnic is the latest cutting edge ipernity feature. But what does it really?

I tested a little bit with this image:

I played a little around, and what came out was this:

great sky

After that I fired up GIMP and fiddled a little with it:

I only adjusted contrast, thats all .. (I did a little to much here, I know).

So if you are new in photo editing or you have not the possibility to install your favourite photo editor, picnik is an option. If you really want to get behind the things, learn to work with a real image editor.

Das ist auch mein Fazit, die meisten Leute, die sich hier herumtreiben, werden schon etwas Erfahrung besitzen und eher eine "richtige" Bildbearbeitung benutzen. Sogar Bildbetrachter wie XnView sind da wohl Picnik überlegen. Für Einsteiger mit "1-Klick"-Ambitionen mag das aber trotzdem ausreichen...
