Can anybody recommend a good one for me that I can upload from internet?.

Once again I got the old grey stuff working again, thinking what group I could create to make ipernity even more interesting, so I thought I would create "County of Rutland, England" group as it is a place very close to my heart as I originate from there. So if you come or came from there or have visited Rutland please add photos to the group. Many thanks.

This coming saturday...24 October we are going on another photographing extravaganze..this time to the Philipps Halle in Düsseldorf.....we are going to see Messers Richard Parfitt, Francis Rossi, Andrew Bown, John Edwards and Mathew Letley...otherwise known as STATUS QUO..

We have got the most expensive tickets...so lets hope that we get a very good view so that we can make some super photos....hopingly better than those at the Jethro Tull gig earlier this year. I will be taking a small tripod with me...we can also use it as a monopod if there is not enough room.

I will do a new blog to tell you how the gig went.....not of real interest if you are not into Quo and are more into hip-hop......or the like !!!.

I was looking through ipernity...as I always do and found that there was no group specific about Church Organs....so I have started one...if you have a photo of a Church Organ please add it to the group. Thanks...Roger.

Hallo folks. So at long last I uploaded my holiday photos here....but then I realised....with so many to upload at one time that there were quite a few missing.....so now you will see them not quite in the order they were taken...old age is creeping on !!!!!.

Hi there folks...I have just uploaded my holiday photos on to the computer...I have sorted about 240 of them that I think may interest you all...but please be patient..that will take a few hours to do...and tomorrow I have to go back to work...so I might just upload a few every day.

Hallo ipernity friends. We arrived back safely from England last night afer a great 2 weeks visiting friends and relations. The weather was very mixed..from heavy rain on the M 5 heading for Cornwall to getting sunburnt walking along the beach near Rock..(accross the water from Padstow). I think we took about 500 photos...I wont post all of them in ipernity...just those that I think may interest you all...this may take a few days though to upload them..so please be patient with me ...

Hallo my ipernity friends. Tomorrow I am off on my holidays to the UK. I will have internet access in England so when I have time I will log in just to have a look at any new photos. I have bought a 2 GB Speicherkarte for my camera...so expect loads and loads of photos when I get back in 2 weeks time.

2nd August, At the moment I am in Lincoln staying with my brother. Up to now I have taken around 500 photos in England,,,,,,,,,,,byeeeeeeee.

I have just started a new Group...(no not another Rock Group) called Concert Tickets....so take photos or scans of Concert Tickets that you have..ta a lot.

Hallo Ipernity friends. Hows the World Financial Crisis affecting you?. As for myself and family it is not affecting us at all. Where I work my boss has just invested over a million euros in new machines for producing livestock eartags. My son works in Freight Logistics..and there is always something that needs to be transported around the world..and my wife works in a remand home for naughty children...and it will always give naughty children !!!..hihi.

OK ...since my last blog at the end of january...we went to the Jethro Tull gig....a very good gig from Ian Anderson and his merry men. I presume that most of you saw the photos...even if some of them were not very good...because of the distance that we were from the stage. This coming saturday...4 april I will be going down to Frankfurt to the Music Exhibition...thanks to Fender Guitars for the free tickets...what a name plug there...hihi.

As from 2 may I (we) will be in the UK for a 2 week holiday....so beware all of you in the UK..if you see a blue Daihatsu Terios with a German number plate on it...give us a wave please !!!!.

Oh yes....I already have tickets for the Status Quo gig in the Phillipshalle in Düsseldorf for the 24 October 2009...not 2010 !!!..."Rock on Quo".

Re. as from 2 may will be in england on holiday: due to very unforseen circumstances we had to pospone our trip to england until the end of july.

The last couple of weeks I have not had much time to do any photgraphing...but.....you can watch out for some new ones this week...on friday we are going to see "Blues Company"...so loads of photos will be taken. Then on 14 March we are going to see "Jethro Tull".....yes they are actualy coming to Wuppertal...so loads more photos there...and on the 4th April we are going to the International Music Exibition in Frankfurt am Main...that is always good for filling the camera up.......so watch this spot....as they say......and then in May we are hoping to go to the UK for a couple of weeks holiday...the first time that I will have been there for about 8 years.....so that will be a photo orgy .

Over the past weekend the meteorologists told us that we were in for heavy snow here in all parts of Germany. Although here in Wuppertal we havn´t had much snow over the past years we certainly got more than usual in the night from 4-5th january: My son was on night shift and he said about 2 AM it snowed like he has never seen it in his life..and he in now over 23 years old. Last night....5-6 january was apparently the coldest night that we have had in Germany for over 20 years. This week I am on holiday..the last few days from last years hioliday...my wife is at work all day..and because my son is working night shift he sleeps of course until late afternoon..so little old me is so to say on my own..so as you can see I have been out and about taking advantage of the very cold but sunny weather to take some photos of the snow..who knows when we will get this ammount again.

I haven´t found much to photograph in the last few days...the weather has been gray and wet...typical november weather for here...but the weather forcasters have predicted severe winter conditions for the coming weekend...somaybe a few snow photos will be coming from me. I just hope that I am at home when the snow comes and not stuck on some motorway on the way home from work on friday..when I´m at home it can then snow as much as it likes....but then I feel sorry for those who are stuck somewhere...particularly the long distance lorry drivers.

I was looking through the groups and didn´t find one for drummers....so I created one...so if you have any photos of "Drummers"...rock or otherwise please add them....thanks.

As you read in my previouse blog from yesterday I had a total crash of my PC..and lost ALL data..I´m now looking for a free photo editing programme...any ideas anybody?.

I got up this morning and as usual the first two thing I do are switch the coffee machine on and the the computer so that I can read my e-mails that have come in over night and have a nice cup of fresh coffee to start the day on...then the trouble started....I couldn´t drive the PC up...a message said " please reinstall "Winows XP"...so far so good..or bad!!!....I then found the Windows XP disc...it all went fairly well untill it wanted the Product Key...do you think I could find it...could I ****, I then thought that my son might know where it was...but he was at work and wasn´t due home until mid-afternoon..he came home and I explained it to him..of course he knew where the wanted number was...in his appartment...well how was I to know the eh!?....in the end we got XP running and internet of course but most of the data was gone..as my son is "fairly" brainy he got the idea to install some "recovery " programme  so that he could recover some of his photos of concerts that were on this computer but not on his.....all went fairly well again until I wanted to listen to the radio via internet...now that still doesn´t fuction.....all the "Players" are installed...has anybody any idea what has gone wrong?..we will just have to keep messing about with the thing until one of gets a bit of luck and it works...well you all know the old saying "A computer is like a women...you never understand them properly"...so with my little moan and groan I will say "Tatty by"until the next time.

Hallo all. I see that I now have 10000 visits to my photos. Thank you all to those that have looked at my photos and made comments. I hope that the photos were not boring. Once again thanks to you all for making me so welcome to ipernity.

I now have over 1000 photos in ipernity...thank you ipernity for letting me upload so many on a free account...a bit different to flickr!!!!...thats the main reason why I left flickr and came here..I was only allowed 200 photos there on a free account. I realy enjoy ipernity. (you big Creep Roger) ;-)
