Né à Londres, Nick Brandt a étudié le cinéma et la peinture à la pretigieuse St Martins School of Art. Il commence la photographie en décembre 2000 en Afrique de l’Est. Depuis lors, il se consacre à temps plein à son art. Spécialisé en photographie animalière, son oeuvre témoigne d’une grande sensibilité et d’un profond respect pour ces animaux sauvages.
Il nous renvoie l’image d’un monde idéal où l’animal vit en harmonie avec l’être humain.
