Please note: kittens who have not yet been altered are available for a fully refundable $50 (refunded once verifiable proof of spay or neuter is submitted). Kittens who have already had their surgery are available for $60. Adults are available once altered for $50. Certain special needs and older felines are available for $40. Of note, while kittens are not adoptable until they reach 8 weeks of age, it is possible to reserve a kitten by putting a nonrefundable $20 down toward their adoption fee.

Chiffon
Chiffon is a sweet girl, perhaps 2-3 years old, who is happy to be off the streets. Chiffon loves to cuddle, but she still is a bit hand shy when she sees a hand reach toward her. Day by day she improves, and she enjoys being petted by visitors. Chiffon has been vaccinated against rabies and distemper. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She has been dewormed and uses the litterbox faithfully. She is spayed. Chiffon is available for adoption for $50.

Chambray (ADOPTED)
Chambray is an amazingly outgoing, affectionate 2-year-old feline who would love her own family, her own humans to love. Chambray has been vaccinated against rabies and distemper. She arrived spayed. Someone will be truly blessed to welcome this personable beauty into their home. Adoption fee: $50.

Miss Farkus
Miss Farkus was trapped as an older kitten along with her sisters. As they were all completely wild, they have been undergoing socialization. Miss Farkus loves human touch, and she is very food motivated. The beauty enjoys being carried around in her human's arms, purring up a storm. However, she is quite nervous around strangers. We are working to help her overcome her fears. Miss Farkus has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia. She is negative for FIV/FeLV. Her guesstimated birth date is 9/2/14. She is available for adoption for $60.

Arizona (special needs)
Arizona is the amazingly friendly, outgoing, loving momma trapped with her three kittens (Kanata, Phasma, and Dameron). She has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Sadly, Arizona tested positive for FIV. Thankfully, felines with FIV can live a long, happy, healthy life. FIV is not readily transmissible to other felines as it requires a puncture wound. As long as there is peace in the house, FIV+ felines can coexist with FIV- felines. As an additional challenge: Arizona is allergic to standard cat food. She does fine on a raw chicken diet from the pet deli or on limited ingredient dry food. Adoption fee: $40.

Bombay (ADOPTED)
Bombay is an incredibly handsome fella who is neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Bombay arrived with a broken canine, so we have a surgery planned for him. Bombay is available for adoption for $50.

Pandora
Pandora is an ~5-6 year-old girl who was returned to the rescue because she started hiding. Well, Pandora's teeth were rotting out of her mouth causing a great deal of pain. We had twelve teeth removed, and she has been coming back out of her shell. I am so happy for the girl. She definitely is still shy, and she requires an understanding home. Pandora enjoys cuddling on my lap and eats up loving, but she will need to adapt to new humans. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. Pandora is available for adoption for $40.

Mr. Grigsby: SPECIAL NEEDS
Mr. Grigsby is a gregarious, outgoing feline. People who visit to choose a home often fall in love with his handsome looks, outgoing personality, and soft fur. However, he will need a special home. After all, Mr. Grigsby is allergic to standard cat food. He can have limited ingredient duck and pea without difficulty or, what we feed him, ground up chicken from Woody's Pet Food Deli. Of note, it isn't as simple as that. Why not? Mr. Grigsby is food obsessed. He will go after any food in the sink and even has figured out ways to open cabinets (now all have magnets holding them closed). This boy will tear into bags of anything left on the counter. We do our best to keep Mr. Grigsby away from anything that will cause him to react, but he manages to get into something every six to eight months or so. When it happens, he needs to have a steroid. His face swells and his paws swell. His lips ulcerate. If Mr. Grigsby doesn't get a steroid in time, his paw pads crack and his paws become secondarily infected thanks to the litterbox. Yep, it's best to catch it early. Mr. Grigsby requires a home that can medically care for an allergic reaction. An organized kitchen is a must, one where nothing is left out for him to devour. With all that said, Mr. Grigsby is definitely worth all the extra effort. He's been vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia. Adoption fee: $50.

MoMo: SPECIAL NEEDS
MoMo is our only declawed feline in the house. He arrived that way. MoMo, now approximately 9 years old, was found dodging cars scrounging for food in a grocery store parking lot. MoMo is a very quirky boy although his OCD tendencies are mellowing with age. MoMo does not want to live with other adult males (he will spray). He also at times prefers to use wee-wee pads over litterboxes. That has lessened considerably with time, but MoMo still falls into a special needs category due to his unusual litter habits. MoMo lives in his own room in our home (apart from other adult males). Thankfully, he enjoys female company as well as kittens. His room is our "kitten room" whenever we have kittens available for adoption in our home. MoMo is neutered, dewormed, and has been vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and FeLV. Adoption fee: $50.

Ellie
Ellie had a litter of kittens on a property, and by the time we became involved only one kitten remained (his guesstimated birth date is 11/7/14 based on what the homeowner knew). The pair joined us on 1/16/15. Ellie, albeit shy, has been around humans in the past. She was spayed on 2/11/15 as well as vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Ellie tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She is still being treated for a stubborn ear infection. Ellie is available for adoption for $50, but please be aware that we are still treating her left ear. She has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper.

Miss Flick (soon available for adoption)
Miss Flick, like her sisters, was trapped as a feral kitten. She has been undergoing socialization. Thankfully, Miss Flick is more comfortable around strangers, willing to take treats offered to her by unknown hands. However, we are still working on getting her comfortable being picked up. While she can be picked up and has had her claws trimmed without incident, she really isn't overly fond of having her four paws off the ground. Miss Flick has been spayed and vaccinated against rabies. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Her guesstimated birth date is 9/2/14. She will be available for adoption for $60.

Whisper (soon available for adoption)
Whisper is a precious young man born in October. He has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. This beautiful boy LOVES to be pet. He was quite thin when he arrived and has been happily eating up a storm. Whisper has been dewormed and uses a litterbox faithfully. He tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Whisper will be available for adoption for $50.

Murmur (soon available for adoption)
Murmur is a tiny young man, approximately 14 ½ months old. While he arrived into our care when trapped once an adult, he has been finding out about the pleasures of indoor living. Murmur has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies. This boy is full-grown at 5 pounds. He uses the litterbox faithfully and has been dewormed. Murmur will be available for $50.

Luna
Luna arrived with her three kittens (Rizzo, Jojo, & Jitterbug). The whole family was carrying parvovirus and very quickly became horrendously ill. Thankfully, we were able to keep them hydrated through subcutaneous fluids and the whole family survived the deadly illness. The family lived in isolation for six weeks and then tested negative for parvovirus. No longer shedding the virus, Luna will be spayed and vaccinated against rabies and distemper (as the vaccine covers more than just distemper). Then she will be available for adoption for $50.

Rizzo (ADOPTED)
Rizzo arrived with his momma Luna and sisters Jojo and Jitterbug. The whole family was carrying pavovirus and very quickly became horrendously ill. Thankfully, we were able to keep them hydrated through subcutaneous fluids and the whole family survived the deadly virus. The family lived in isolation for six weeks and then tested negative for parvovirus. No longer shedding the virus, Rizzo is now available for adoption. Rizzo is a high-energy outgoing lad. Adoption fee: $50 (fully refundable with verifiable proof of neuter by 7 months of age).

Jojo
Jojo arrived with her momma Luna, brother Rizzo, and sister Jitterbug. The whole family was carrying pavovirus and very quickly became horrendously ill. Thankfully, we were able to keep them hydrated through subcutaneous fluids and the whole family survived the deadly virus. The family lived in isolation for six weeks and then tested negative for parvovirus. No longer shedding the virus, Jojo is now available for adoption. She is a quiet, very loving and affectionate girl. Adoption fee: $60.

Stanley (ADOPTED)
Stanley is an uber adorable friendly young gentle man who is vaccinated against distemper and dewormed. He'd love to find himself a forever home. He is available for adoption for a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of neuter by age 7 months).

Cricket (soon available for adoption)
Cricket is a gorgeous young lady who joined us as a feral. She has found that she loves being scritched, so she has been making progress being socialized. A quiet, gentle wee girl. She will be available for $50 once she is spayed.

Astra (ADOPTED)
Astra is beyond beautiful. A solidly built healthy young lady who is just getting her feet under her. Astra will be available for adoption for a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of spay by 7 months of age).

Pico (ADOPTED)
Pico is a personable young man who has charmed someone else's momma (Boboli, above) to nurse him. I suspect he will always have others eating out of his paws. Pico will be available for adoption for a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of neuter by 7 months of age).

Wren (ADOPTED)
Wren is a gorgeous young torbie who is already developing endearing habits, including her precious *eep* she utters when disturbed while napping. Wren will be available for adoption for a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of spay by 7 months of age).

Sonata (RESERVED)
Sonata is a stunningly gorgeous calico. She's roly poly and starting to explore her environment. Utterly adorable wee. Sonata will be available for adoption for a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of spay by 7 months of age).

Gimchi (RESERVED)
Gimchi and her sister Kimchi are precious wees who joined us at ~6 days old. They have a love of life that carries them far. Gimchi is a bit more laid back than her sister Kimchi. Gimchi will be available for adoption for a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of spay by 7 months of age).

Kimchi (RESERVED)
Kimchi and her sister Gimchi joined us at ~6 days old. Both have a love of life, but Kimchi is more vocal about hers. This wee girl is clearly driven and knows what she likes. Kimchi will be available for adoption for a fully refundable $50 (with verifiable proof of spay by 7 months of age).

Merlot (ADOPTED)
Merlot is a delightful young man who already has a trial adoption underway. As long as he gets along with the resident feline, he has found himself a forever home.

We also have new arrivals: Brooklyn, Serendipity, and Galaxy. These girls are young ferals who will be available for adoption once socialized. Brooklyn and Serendipity are both long-haired, white-and-tabby girls. Galaxy is a short-haired, tabby-with-white kitten.

An additional family of five kittens with their momma will be available for adoption once they clear ringworm. That's expected to be in early September. Momma Jersey is a short-haired tabby. Nora is a beautiful long-haired tabby. Wyatt is an all-black short-haired little boy. Wapsi is a black and white short-haired girl. Badger and Floyd are both short-haired black and white boys. These wees are very personable and will make a fabulous addition to a family once they have cleared ringworm.

Lazaro (ADOPTED)
The amazingly handsome Lazaro arrived in our care, emaciated, born with cerebellar hypoplasia. Within two days the kitten with the scruffy old man face is already reserved. Once we get him safely through the refeeding time period, he will be ready to go to his forever home.
