I don't have adequate words to express what is in my heart. Never in my life have I had such an outpouring of concern, kindness and love from every single one of you. When I realize that there you are, from all over the world, to take the time to visit me, I know that you are giving me the greatest gift of all. John (my husband) is equally awed by the depth and breath of all that you send on my behalf. Once again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart to be so blessed to have such wonderful friends.

As I mentioned before, I have had two surgeries, the first was the double mastectomy on March 20th. The second was to remove the 3.5 cm tumor that was buried deep inside my right arm pit. It was right next to the bone and surrounded a major artery and a bundle of nerves. I have since found out just a couple of days ago that they removed five more lymph nodes and found cancer in one of them - not good. The lymph nodes have been removed (along with all the rest of them on the right side of my chest and former breast area). Dr. Gunn, my surgeon, is without question, one of the finest surgeons I have ever had the fortune to work with. Everything he does is honest and filled with deep concern for his breast cancer patients. His skills are the best you could find anywhere. I have pleased with the outcome of his beautiful, hairliine scars and the removal of my breasts has given my back great relief from years of back pain.
