Last week in Chile, the Government and Microsoft sign a agreement to improve the digital access for all people in Chile.
But now, if your son born in Chile, automatically have a @live.cl mail, a lot of aplications (that now is free).
Also, the teachers will be prepared for in the future your sons will learn to use MS Works (when the use of this will be free), or another Microsoft softwares.
And the most important! You have (yes, HAVE) to buy a official license for Microsoft Windows (maybe the Starter Edition) and pay the annual license, for ever (yeah, the price will be accessible for everyone).
In a few works, Chile is the most important market for Microsoft, because you have to buy and learn in only Microsoft softwares (yeah, forget Firefox, because every government page will be able to IE), and forget Star/OpenOffice and the freedom to use the program that you like.
Digital Liberation (in spanish: Liberación Digital) is a smart mob that born to fight against the government agreement (Microsoft is not guilty, because they do their job: take possession of the market) and the lasts photos are the sample for the first reunion of the group, in the delivery for a open letter that, at least, one thousand people signed.
Is the start of the cyber users against the real government... and the beginning for a real progress in computer matter in Chile.
PS: Sorry for my english... I hope in the future make a better post :D
