Really, I don't have anything interesting to talk about.  It's Saturday afternoon and I'm waiting for my beef stew to simmer all the way through so I can eat it...I will do my best NOT to eat the entire pot of it, but it's pretty tasty stuff.

I figured since I posted about the loan I got to get me to Chicago, I should maybe update a bit since people probably have no idea if I actually made it or not.  If you're interested, please continue to read...if not, I have lots of pretty pictures to look at in my Docs :)  Check them out if so inclined.

I did, in fact, make it to Chicago.  I have been here for several months now (since August) and I LOVE it!!  The School is pretty cool (you may have seen my George Lucas photographs from last semester...yes, I was in the same room as George Lucas!!) and the city is fantastic!  Since I've been here I have eaten deep dish pizza (Giordano's is my fave), been to the top of the Sears Tower, seen a really great Cubs game, watched Phantom of the Opera (and am headed to see Rent in Feb.), been to the symphony, made some great friends, and met someone whom I care about very much.  So, my life has taken a turn for the better most definitely.

I am currently waiting to start my second semester at SAIC (on the 24th) so wish me luck on that :) Thanks for reading!
