1993- Uzzhuaïa´s first formation with Sergio (guitar and voice), Isra (guitar), Juanjo (bass) and Nacho (drums)

1995- Nacho leaves the band and José replaces him.

1996- 500 copies of the CD Demo "Amanece Evolución" are edited.

1999- Sergio decides to concentrate solely on being the vocalist of the band and Alex replaces him as second guitarrist.

2000- "3000 Grados", the first album of the band comes out and the presentation is at the Roxy in Valencia in front of over 400 people. After this success in their hometown, the band decides to expand nationally. 1000 copies of the album are sold and distributed by Zero Records.

The reviews published in the most important specialised press magazines cannot be better. From Popular 1, Metal Hammer, Mondo Sonoro o RockSound, critics are unanimous and Uzzhuaï manages the best distinctions in all medias. They are chosen as support band by the swedish Spiritual Beggars.

2001 - In February, Carlos Pina of Radio 3 called them to take part in "Sesiones de Musica en Negro " at the Sala Caracol in Madrid with Yogurt Daze y After Feedback. The band also offers a studio gig for his radio show "Bienvenidos al Paraiso" which was broadcasted live for the whole of Spain. They play at Heavy Metal Festival Rock Machina alongside to Gamma Ray, Kreator.... Even though Uzzhuaïa´s style contrasts with the rest of the acts of the line-up, the public was very pleased with their performance. In September La 2 of TVE broadcasts a concert they played at Radio 3 studios two months earlier. In December the band members have different prospects about the band´s future development which implies the departure of Sergio and Pablo becomes their new frontman.

2002 - After playing with Sex Museum and Nebula, Juanjo -bass player and original member of the band- has to sadly part the band due to health reasons. Alvaro takes over his place to complete the band for "Diablo Blvd.". In April, they play at Sala Arena in Madrid for the Bad Magazine party in a gig broadcasted live by Radio 3. The next important date was Jerez where on the 5th of September Uzzhuaïa unloads all their brand new strenght for the Festival Serie Z´s public. They are widely acclaimed by the critics which refer to them as one of the best bands playing that night. Their new album "Diablo Blvd." is recorded in October that year.

2003 - The band signs a contract with Cactus 66 to release "Diablo Blvd." and the album is released on the 7th of April with the distributors K Industria. In February the norwegian band Gluecifer choses them as support band for their gig at the Roxy in Valencia. They also play with great success in Festimad 2003 sharing stage with bands such as Marilyn Manson, Audioslave, Hamlet, Evanescence or Deftones. The press and the public is absolutely unanimous in qualifying them as the Revelation of the Festival.

In November they support the Supersuckers at the Popular 1 anniversary party. A few weeks later they appear in the television music program Musica Si in TVE playing "He cambiado". They achieve the highest audience levels of the program.

2004 - The band´s rehearsal place is looted and only a guitar and a bass are found; however despite this unfortunate event the band keeps playing life. They perform again in La2 in TVE in the program "Los conciertos de Radio 3" and in April they are chosen by Skid Row as official supporting band for their spanish tour. They appear again in TVE in June in Musica Uno playing "El Efecto Diablo". They close their "Diablo Blvd. Tour" in Valencia in June.

2005 - In Summer, Uzzhuaïa starts recording the tracks of their third album which still remains unnamed. They are produced by Gonzalo Parreño who also teamed up in their first album. They now want to achieve a good and solid contract.

Cactus 66 becomes officially their Office management. The band releases all their energy on a mini tour around the Basque country, Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona and obtain an excellent response from an enthusiastic and devoted public to whom they introduce their new songs.

2006 - Uzzhuaïa supports Supagroup in Alicante in February and soon after it becomes clear to them that the only project that satisfies their career expectations is the one offered by Weight Recordings, closely linked to Cactus 66.

In April they record an acoustic concert offered at the Wah Wah in Valencia which would only be available at their gigs aon their website. This recording has become with time one of the most sought after merchandising piece of the band.

In mid May they play at the Metal Circus Festival introducing the edition of their EP "No intentes volver atrás" which includes two new tracks of their new album, an unplublished song of their latest album recording and a make up a version of Motörhead´s "Don´t let daddy kiss me" which was originally recorded for a tribute to the legendary british band under the name "Morir con las botas puestas".

At the end of June they record a video clip for the first single (“No intentes volver atrás”) of their new album in the matchless beauty of Bárdenas Reales in Navarra.

With their brilliant act at the 5th edition of the Azkena Rock Festival where they play with heavy weighted bands such as Pearl Jam, Redd Kross, Buckcherry, New York Dolls, etc Uzzhuaïa celebrates the edition of their new work called “Uzzhuaïa”.

The album is greeted with excellent reviews from all the specialized press with no exception and confirmed as one of the best works of the year. Their efforts to achieve a better sound, to also provide the best collection of songs they have ever made, their overwhelming cover of Héroes del Silencio´s classic "La Chispa adecuada" and the individual input of each of the band members in the recording is extensively acknowledged.

The promotional tour for this new album starts officially in Vigo the 19th of October and continues in A Coruña, Lleida, Albacete, Valencia, Gijón, Barcelona, Madrid and Jaén increasing their popularity amongst their ever increasing public.

2007 - The unstoppable ascension of the band is confirmed with their appearance in the lists of the best bands of 2006 according to the national press. Uzzhuaïa is appointed the best metal band of the year by Mondo Sonoro; revelation band according to Heavy Rock readers, Mariskalrock.com and Kerrang, as well as the best band of the year by Popular 1 readers, who also confirms Pablo Monteagudo as the best national singer of the year and their latest album, the second best of the year. Also, their frontman, their video clip, their first single and the striking album cover receive excellent marks in "Rockferendum”, the survey made by Kerrang/Heavy Rock/Mariskalrock.com.

At the end of January, they record their second videoclip of the album "Uzzhuaïa", the Héroes del Silencio´s cover "La Chispa Adecuada". The 2007 tour begins in Alcázar de San Juan (Ciudad Real) on friday the 2nd of February contributing in important festivals such as Extremusica, Metrorock (alongside Bad Religion o My Chemical Romance) and coming to an end at Grande Rock.

2008 - In January, the band starts recording their new album "Destino Perdición" at the prestigious Music Lan studios in Girona, where other great artists such as Bunbury, The King, Super Furry Animals, Jarabe de Palo or Franz Ferdinanz have worked.

The new album was released on the 5th of May 2008.
