Er sucht Menschen, wie sie für Deutschland typisch sind – was auch immer typisch deutsch für Sie bedeuten mag. Das könnten Sie selbst sein oder jemand, den Sie kennen.

Vom Beginn seiner Reise an wird der Filmemacher über seine Erfahrungen berichten, Geschichten sammeln und Interviews führen und täglich als Video Weblog bzw. "vlog" auf 1000stories.com posten. Starting October 1st

Do you know a “real” American? Are you one yourself?

A German documentary filmmaker and new-media artist, with the support of the Goethe-Institut New York, will be traveling through the United States by motorcycle from October 1 until November 15, 2007, and he wants to understand the American way of life.

He wants to know what makes Americans tick, so he’s looking for people who are typical of the United States - whatever you think typical means. It could be you or someone you know. Once his trip starts, he will write about his experiences, collect stories, and conduct interviews, posted daily as a video weblog, or "vlog," at 1000stories.com.

The filmmaker’s route will be determined by you, i.e. the interested folks in the U.S. who get in touch with him via this form and suggest potential interview candidates. So please help him!
